Amazingly Detailed Heraldic Imagery
Obverse: The effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is located on the obverse. The image is surrounded by a guilloche patterned background bearing the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "D.G. REG. F.D." and "100 POUNDS."
Reverse: The reverse features a White Greyhound with a paw resting upon a shield adorned with the Royal Crown atop the Tudor Rose. The heraldic design is framed by a border containing the inscriptions "WHITE GREYHOUND OF RICHMOND," "1 OZ FINE GOLD 999.9" and "2021." Obverse and reverse designs are the work of sculptor Jody Clark. Mr. Clark, an employee of The Royal Mint, is notably the youngest designer to have created a definitive coinage portrait of the Queen.
